LONDON — Social media may seem like a distraction for some people, but for others it’s a source of inspiration.

For one British poet, who goes by the name Brian Bilston, Twitter is both a great place to gather ideas and a handy platform for trying out quirky new forms of poetry.

Bilston has built up a following of nearly 15,000 people, and recently found success with a poem written in the form of a flow-chart and an emoji-based rewriting of John Lennon’s “Imagine.”
